Sprague Lake Trail

Description:
The Sprague Lake Trail is a half-mile nature walk around Sprague Lake. This smooth, level trail is suitable for wheelchairs. There is a large parking and picnic area at the beginning of the trail. The trail begins at the east end of the parking area. This trail offers a very pleasant walk around the shore of the lake. There is a backcountry handicamp (handicapped campsite) about 300 - 400 yards off the trail near the southeast end. The path to the site begins a short distance before the bridge across the outlet stream of the lake. You get good views of the peaks to the west from the east shore of the lake. There is a sign identifying each peak next to the trail on the east shore. This trail is very popular and sees heavy use.
