Chambers Lake

Description:
Chambers Lake is located just east of Cameron Pass just off Highway 14. This lake contains a variety of trout species as well as Kokanee Salmon. Boats are permitted on the lake and a launching ramp is located in the Chambers Lake Campground. Most of the shoreline is accessible for fishing but some hiking may be required. Modern camping facillities are available in the Forest Service campground at the south end of the lake.

Directions:

Take Highway 287 north from Fort Collins to Laporte. Continue on Highway 287 to Highway 14. Travel west on 14 for 50 miles to the Laramie River Road. Turn north to reach the northern sections of the lake. Continue on to Chambers Lake Campground to access the south end of the lake.
