West Lake

Description:
West Lake is a small lake situated at an elevation of 8,226 feet in the Red Feather Lakes area. It Is about 16 feet deep at its deepest point and is about a mile arouind its shore. Brown and rainbow trout are stocked here. There is a dayuse area on the west end and a campground on the south side.

Directions:

Take Highway 287 north from Fort Collins to Laporte. Continue on 287 north to Livermore. Turn west on 74E for 24 miles to the lake. The campground is on the right side of the highway. Travel another quarter mile and turn right to get to the dayuse area.
